Additional Prayer Prompts

Ask the Lord for one word or phrase which can be heard as a prayer every time you speak it or hear it. My word is "grace." Graham Cooke defines grace as the empowering presence of God that makes you into the man or woman God sees each time God looks at you.

My prayer for those trapped in this industry is grace .... empowering presence. What word or phrase could always be a prayer for an end to trafficking for you?

Pray God would open every pore of your body to receive his love, that nothing would block your ability to receive it. An average adult has 5 million pores in their body. The typical human pore size is 50 microns (1 micron is one millionth of a meter). The average mustard seed size is 1 to 2 millimeters. So, a mustard seed would be about the size of 20 pores on an average adult body.

Matthew 17:20 – “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Today, God, we release faith the size of a mustard seed in each individual who is being trafficked. We know if only one of their pores is open to your love you will come in like a flood. We lock up fear in each life and declare you unlock 20 of their pores – the size of a mustard seed – to become receptors of your love and hope. We are so confident in you and your majesty which is greater than every situation. Just one open pore can change a life, but we're asking for 20 pores…. Would you open 20 pores in the lives of each one and in each of us also? We decree and believe your word – Nothing will be impossible. Amen.

God, we thank You for the resources You are bringing to the battle to end trafficking and the restoration of those whose lives have been affected by it. Your Life is Light for all humanity. We decree Your Living Expression is the Light that bursts through the gloom surrounding this industry - Your Light that darkness cannot diminish. (John 1:4-5 TPT) With eyes locked on You, we eagerly and expectantly wait to see Your Majesty completely overwhelm the trafficking industry. Release more resources in this battle. Amen.

We agree, Jesus, it is never your desire that a single person should be lost. (Matt. 18:14 TPT). Continue to make yourself known to those enslaved and provide the path to freedom and restoration. Amen.

Challenge IS inevitable, and in the case of trafficking we each get to choose what we are challenged by. You may choose to be challenged by the overwhelming facts of the trafficking industry. OR, you may choose to be challenged by the word of God which says God sets the captives free. One focus leads to hopelessness and despair. The other leads to confidence, faith and an ever-growing awareness that defeat is not only not optional, it's not even a possibility. Nothing can stand against the majesty of God. Which "challenge" is capturing your attention today?
